TPlayer is a video player for Android that lets you watch movies, TV shows and other videos stored on your phone without needing a complicated setup. It supports many common media formats, including MP4, MKV, AVI and MOV, so you don’t have to keep looking for another player whenever you open a different file. It also supports audio files and online video streams, making it useful for more than just watching videos saved on your device.
The app can scan your phone or SD card for media files and put them into a library, or you can browse your folders yourself to find what you want to play. TPlayer also has subtitle support, hardware acceleration and a few handy playback controls. You can change the screen fit, adjust brightness and volume with gestures, or move through a video without opening extra menus every time.
Key features:
- Wide Format Support: Play video and audio files in formats such as MP4, MKV, AVI, MOV, FLAC and AAC.
- Local Media Library: Find videos and music stored on your phone or SD card.
- Online Streaming: Play supported network streams directly in the app.
- Subtitle Support: Load subtitles and use multiple subtitle or audio tracks when available.
- Playback Gestures: Adjust brightness, volume and playback position with simple gestures.
- Screen Fit Options: Change the aspect ratio and resize the video to suit your screen.
- Hardware Acceleration: Use hardware decoding for supported files and devices.
- Easy File Management: Browse, organize and share your videos more conveniently.
TPlayer is a practical option if you just need a player that handles different file types and gives you control over how videos look on your screen. It is free to use, and its extra playback settings are useful if you watch a lot of movies or shows on your phone. Keep in mind that some features depend on your device and Android version, and the app needs media or storage access to find your files.
